NHST Media Group is a global media group consisting of several leading Norwegian and international publications and a global software-as-a-service (SaaS) company. The Group comprises three business areas: Norwegian Publications which includes Norway’s largest business paper, Dagens Næringsliv, and Morgenbladet; Global Publications which includes the leading media brands Tradewinds, Upstream, Recharge, Intrafish, Fiskeribladet and Europower; and Mynewsdesk, a market leading digital PR-solution enabling communicators to engage with opinion leaders, customers, bloggers and other relevant audiences, as well media monitoring services through the newly acquired SaaS company Mention. Group CPCO is a new position in the executive management team. Strategic HR management will be a driving force in the transformation of all business areas and in creating strong synergies between them.

The CPCO will be responsible for developing and implementing the Group HR strategy as well as HR policies across the business areas, nationally and internationally. Together with the HR leaders in the business areas you will support the Group in HR matters at all levels of the organization.

As communications will be a central element in NHST Media Group’s continued business transformation, responsibilities will also include handling all internal communications and support to Group CEO on external communications.

We are looking for an experienced and business-oriented leader within HR, with an ability to convert solid business understanding into strategic actions to be implemented in the organization. You have experience from large, complex organizations and are comfortable working in a fast paced, changing and global environment. You have an explicit authority in HR, enabling you to gain influence and to be a trusted partner.

You have a strong commercial orientation combined with a proven track record of developing a business focused and value adding HR function, and you have delivered results through the effective use of both internal and external communications. The ability to communicate at all levels and excellent networking and relationship building skills will be crucial. You are motivated by the possibility to build and form a strategically important role. Furthermore, you possess excellent communication skills, written and verbal, in a Scandinavian language and in English. The position reports to the CEO.
