Analyst - Investment Banking/Debt Financing

We are looking for an analyst to join the Debt Financing team in Oslo. Debt Financing is part of SEB’s Investment Banking unit.

The analyst position is offered within the Corporate Loan Origination unit, which has offices in Oslo, Stockholm, Helsinki, Copenhagen and Frankfurt, as well as a Loan Syndications group in London. We have a solid reputation, and for the past 20+ years we have been top ranked as an arranger of syndicated loans, involving structuring, underwriting and syndicating complex transactions. In Oslo, the team focuses on capital structure issues for the largest Norwegian companies. Our analysts are exposed to a wide range of tasks including credit analysis, market analysis and debt structuring, with an emphasis on debt capital issues.

What we expect of you

  • Master degree or equivalent in business, engineering, science or law with excellent results
  • Experience of financial modelling using Excel
  • Excellent PowerPoint skills
  • Fluency in English, both written and oral
  • Evidence of strong ambition to be successful and willingness to work hard over sustained periods
  • International experience is an advantage
  • Evidence of good interpersonal skills, team work and emotional intelligence
  • Have an open mind, be curious and motivated/driven
