Nemko’s strategy is to significantly grow its global business in the coming five year period. As the Director of Global Sales & Business Development you will be part of an international team that will be instrumental in achieving this growth.

You will work closely with the management of existing and new customers, 10 different sales teams across the Nemko Group, as well as highly experienced and competent subject experts, IT/digitalisation and marketing & communication professionals.

In the role you will also cooperate extensively with the Corporate management team and report to the SVP Global Sales & Business Development.

Responsibilities and areas of work:

  • Global and regional business development, supporting local sales teams in implementing sound sales & marketing strategies and plans

  • Establish sales training programmes, with emphasis on solution-oriented sales

  • Professionalise sales, introducing "on demand" access to centralized knowledge

  • Drive commercialisation and digitalisation of services and solutions

  • Implement global sales activities, targets, KPIs and follow-up structures

Qualifications and experience:

  • Higher education, preferably Master’s degree in Business Adm., Science or Engineering

  • Min. 10 years relevant professional experience with proven results in international sales management and business development

  • Excellent business understanding and preferably experience from TIC industry, or other relevant industries such as IT, data, telecom, medical or similar

  • Excellent knowledge in application of social media, digital marketing and CRM tools

  • Experience working with the Chinese market would be very beneficial, so also

    experience from the software evaluation and/or cyber security industries

  • Customer oriented with strong commercial skills and understanding

  • “Hands on”, with strong result and quality focus

  • Analytical, structured and independent

  • Good formulation skills in Norwegian and English, both written and oral

Nemko will move into new and top modern premises in Philip Pedersen’s vei 11 at Lysaker in the spring of 2019. The position entails extensive travel activity, initially Asia and North America.
