Credit Research Analyst
Danske Bank is a leading player in the Nordic bond market. We are now recruiting a Credit Research Analyst for our team in Oslo.
Debt Capital Markets (DCM) is responsible for corporate credit analysis, covering both domestic and international clients in connection with bond issuances. Our team monitors the business and financial profile of companies under coverage, evaluate bond structures and pricing and maintain trade recommendations. The work includes monitoring market trends and other analysis of the Nordic bond market. We have close dialogue with management of companies under coverage and fund managers in the Nordic and European bond market. Our credit research is presented continually both internally within Danske Bank DCM and externally to the bank’s clients.
As a Credit Research Analyst you are responsible for analysis of corporates in the Nordic bond market, and presentation of the research both in writing and orally. You will ensure good and close dialogue with issuers and fund managers. Maintaining and developing modelling tools for corporate and market analysis is part of your responsibility. In addition, we expect you to contribute to Danske Bank’s activities across sectors in the Nordic bond market.
Strong academic, analytical and commercial ability
Your education should be equivalent to a Master of Science in finance, economics or other quantitative subject, with solid grades as proof of strong performance. Candidates with 1-10 years of work experience within corporate banking, investment banking, auditing or other forms of financial analysis and graduates with top grades will be prioritized for the position.
Our new colleague must exhibit a strong interest in the Nordic bond market. Applicants must have solid analytical abilities and a well-grounded understanding of accounting and be able to structure work in a professional and commercial manner. The candidate must be able to work independently and in a team and display solid communication skills. Experience with Excel and other modelling and presentation tools weighs positively.
The position requires excellent oral and written communication skills in English.
As part of our team you will experience challenging work in a professional and expansive environment. You will become a key employee in a relatively small team of other Credit Research Analysts in Oslo, Stockholm and Copenhagen. Some travelling should be expected. Candidates should preferably be stationed in Oslo, although we welcome applicants stationed in other Nordic cities, with the ability to commute.
