Airthings is experiencing strong growth and will strengthen the finance department with a highly skilled and motivated Group Controller to join the company on this exciting journey. The company was recently listed on the Oslo Stock Exchange’s Merkur Market and has significant international expansion plans.

As the Group Controller, you will be responsible for the consolidation process and ensure that the Group’s financial statements are in accordance with NGAAP and IFRS, as well as further develop and improve the financial reporting process. In addition, you will have many challenging and varied tasks in the finance department with a gradually increased area of responsibility. The position will work closely with and report to the CFO and is positioned at the Group's head office in downtown Oslo.

Key responsibilities

  • Consolidation, financial reporting and support in the quarterly reports and presentations

  • Responsible for the consolidation process, and contribute to streamline and increase efficiency in the Groups’ financial reporting process

  • Cost and profitability analyses

  • Participate in the budget process

  • Support the Group on tax, VAT and NGAAP/IFRS related issues

  • Setup of international units

  • Maintenance and development of the Group's accounting principles and guidelines

  • Participate in development projects including implementing a new consolidation system

You have…

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in accounting/auditing/business

  • Minimum 4-6 years of experience from controlling and/or audit

  • Experience with group accounting from an international company, either as a controller or an auditor

  • Operational experience from an international growth company (a plus, not a requirement

  • Some knowledge of IFRS regulation

  • Generally good IT skills, particularly Excel/MS Office

  • Strong English communication skills, both oral and written
