Project Manager - Strategy, Business Development and M&A

Following the entry of Triton Smaller Mid-Cap Fund as majority shareholder in November 2019, Norstat has set out on an ambitious growth journey entailing further investments in services expansions and client growth, footprint expansions and consolidation of the market via M&A initiatives, as well as further investments in digitalization and automation to increase customer satisfaction and operational efficiency. The Project Manager Strategy, Business Development and M&A will have a key role in driving these new strategic initiatives across the Norstat Group.

Main tasks

• Plan and execute strategic projects within e.g. sales and marketing, product development, panel & IT

• Support business and units on Group and country level in solving their key challenges and opportunities

• Work closely with Group management to support decision making, including monitoring the Group’s strategic project portfolio through a PMO to be formed by you

• Continuously evaluate strategy and positioning, identify trends, challenges and opportunities that should inform our strategic choices while keeping an eye on competitors

• Thought leadership and project management for Group strategy and Full Potential Plan processes

• Co-develop and maintain M&A strategy, founded in our long-term corporate strategy and business priorities

• Maintain market intelligence and actively develop and manage our M&A pipeline, including identification and analysis of prospective M&A targets across a pan-European scope

• Participate in M&A initiatives i.e. plan and execute due diligences and negotiations, in active collaboration with our owners Triton

• Support or run post-merger integration projects

Background and Experience

• Relevant academic degree at Master level

• Minimum 2-5 years relevant experience e.g. strategy and business development, similar in-house environment, management or consultancy

• Experience with planning and running work streams/projects, facilitating workshops

• Experience from M&A is a plus but not a requirement

• A strong communicator in English
