Investment Associate to Infranode

Infranode is now looking to add a talented individual to our Nordic investment team with base in Oslo. We believe in making the world a better place, one sustainable investment at a time and are looking for you who want to take part in our journey.

Your role would be to evaluate and execute investments within the infrastructure sector in the Nordics while covering several subsectors within the energy, digital infrastructure, transportation, renewables and social infrastructure industries.

We believe the ideal candidate should have:

• 3-5 yrs experience from corporate finance, investment banking or M&A boutique and/or,
• Transaction services or valuation within the big 4 or similar and/or,
• M&A department within a large cap firm and/or,
• Infrastructure or private equity fund manager
• Strong excel valuation/modelling and analytical skills
• Strong presentation, communication, negotiation, and project management skills
• Motivated, interpersonal, and ambitious and have a strong interest for business development
• A general interest and previous experience from sustainable investing is preferred.
• Fluency in English and Norwegian

About Infranode

Infranode is a leading Nordic focused infrastructure investment manager with c. SEK 15 billion of equity capital under management. We focus on sustainable investments in the energy, digital infrastructure, transportation, renewables and social infrastructure sectors in the less crowded small to mid-cap market. We can take full ownership, majority but also minority stakes. We typically invest in off-market opportunities, meaning that we often engage in bilateral discussions instead of auction processes. We invest in brownfield (i.e. investing in existing assets) as well as greenfield projects (i.e. developing new assets) and public as well as private companies. Regardless, each asset needs to support objectives of a sustainable future.
In order to meet the important and highly ambitious sustainability goals set by the EU on for example reduction of carbon emissions, Infranode together with our investors and partners need to focus even more on investments and solutions that can support such transition. There are EUR 200bn expected public investments in Nordic infrastructure in the coming 10 years and while Institutional investors, in the Nordics in particular, are significantly under invested in the infrastructure asset class, a general consensus exists regarding the increased importance of sustainable infrastructure investments.
