We are looking for a high-performing Head of Sales and Marketing to join our team

The market for improving business processes and SAP solutions faces an extensive growth through both digitalization and traditional business improvement projects. S5 is therefore looking for an enthusiastic and goal-oriented Head of Sales & Marketing to lead the process of creating marketing strategy, as well as building a sales pipeline for services and recurring software sales in the Scandinavian market.

Are you passionate and motivated to lead the sales work toward named accounts in the ERP market?
The Head of Sales & Marketing role will be focused on building the sales pipeline both in services and additional software sales. Additionally, you will be responsible for marketing strategy and cooperation with agencies.

The new Head of Sales & Marketing must hit the ground running, so while previous management experience is important, an ideal candidate needs to have a great sales track record, preferably of services and software in similar industries, as well as in an enterprise environment. Culture fit is also critical, so to be successful in this role you should show the right characteristics, mindset, and growth potential.

The Head of Sales & Marketing will become a member of the management board and will report directly to the Managing Director.

This is an exciting opportunity to obtain an operational sales role combined with management responsibility.

Your responsibilities:

  • Leading the company’s sales work to deliver business value to our largest clients
  • Keeping revenue growth through new Bizz up sales
  • Exceeding own and company’s monthly / quarterly / annual sales targets
  • Handling a healthy pipeline and ensure forecast hygiene and accuracy, so you and the organization are on target
  • Creating a marketing strategy and policy, as well as cooperating with agencies in implementing the strategy
  • Generating new ideas to improve and develop the overall business performance
  • Connecting with and being relevant to our client’s Business Decision Makers at C-level
  • Securing strong account strategies, providing executive presence for the customer relationships 
  • Highly collaborative with the ability to build trust across internal and external stakeholders

Required and preferred skills:

  • You are a sales leader, and a technology professional
  • 8 + years’ experience with solutions sales
  • Demonstrated leadership, modeling, and coaching experience
  • Strong track record of achieving sales target as an individual contributor and as a manager
  • Track record of over-achieving sales targets (top 15% of the company) in past positions
  • Excellent engagement skills with the ability to establish trusted advisor relationships with business and IT decision-makers.
  • Expert and highly experienced with large, complex, political accounts
  • Compelling storyteller with strong presentation skills and the ability to communicate complex concepts to cross-functional audiences.
  • In-depth industry knowledge as well as commercial and technical understanding of SaaS applications
  • Experienced in mapping customer business processes and needs to product capabilities
  • Expert negotiation and closing skills
  • Keeping direction, staying calm and focused in a fast-paced environment
  • Preferably knowledge of the SAP eco-system or ERP, enterprise IT, integration, or management consulting in general
  • Relevant commercial or technical bachelor or master’s degree
  • Fluent in Scandinavian language and English
