Senior business performance advisor

This position is placed in the business area Production and Industrial Ownership which is responsible for operation and maintenance of all assets where Statkraft is the operator, and optimization of the value of the district heating activities. The business area is optimizing the asset ownership for Statkraft’s European flexible assets together with the business area Market Operations and IT.  

Senior business performance advisor  

As senior business performance advisor, you will be part of the business performance team of 7. The team is responsible for challenging and driving performance within Production and Industrial Ownership, the European flexible assets and O&M services to the other business areas. You will contribute to the business area’s value creation through ensuring good business targets, and that managers know and understand the relevant cost and P&Ls as well as other performance measures to be able to achieve the targets. 

Working in the department: 

• Drive and challenge performance through development and continuous improvement of performance processes, including utilizing systems and tools to support efficient processes  
• Perform and improve planning/target setting process, including delivery specification to asset owners 
• Analyse and report relevant performance information to management and asset owners 
• Further develop the benchmarking process with an aim for improved performance and perform benchmarking of the business area's activities in cooperation with the technical department  
• Ensure transparent and understood cost model, providing a clear link between financial reporting and performance management, including P&Ls, KPIs, etc. 

About you:   

• Strong analytical skills and commercial mindset with focus on drivers and value creation 
• “Change mindset”, with proven track record from process improvement/development and implementation  
• Advanced user of analytic tools and reporting systems, and ability to utilize new technology/digital tools as a way of working 
• Preferably good knowledge of O&M processes and systems 
• Good understanding of cost models and structures 
• Excellent cooperation and communication skills, and ability to collaborate across units  
• Strong command of English and Norwegian 
• Master’s degree in finance or similar  
• Relevant experience within finance and performance management, preferably from larger industrial and international companies
