Your department:

Asset ownership (MA) is part of the business area Markets & IT (M). The overall objective is to maximize the long-term value creation of the flexible power plants in North West Europe. MA is responsible for hedging and regulatory affairs and works closely with Business Area Production on asset strategies & development. MA was recently established to strengthen commercial asset ownership and is currently shaping the strategy, role and business plans. 

In MA, there are around 30 employees working with asset and commercial development, regulatory affairs, portfolio management and financial optimization. The unit has employees in Oslo, Trondheim and Dusseldorf. 

The Senior Management Advisor will report to Vice President Financial Optimization and Hedging and cooperate closely with the Senior Vice President Asset Ownership - both based in Oslo. 

Your role: 

• Be a trusted advisor and support to the asset ownership management team 
• Support business processes cutting across the organisation 
• Drive and support projects across the organisation 
• Drive and support strategy processes within MA 
• Support development of a digital road map for MA 
• Facilitate MA management meetings including managing agenda 
• Provide support to SVP MA with administrative tasks including following up annual activity plan 

Your competence: 

• Master’s degree in finance, business administration, science, economics or similar/equivalent 
• Experience with managing improvement projects from an international company, management consultancy or similar 
• Experience with or understanding of business strategy and market analysis is preferable 
• Experience from/with the energy industry is preferable  
• Fluently in English, both written and spoken - other languages an advantage
