Sourcing Manager

We are hiring a Sourcing Manager who will be responsible for leading, developing and executing sourcing strategies for Hystar. The position will also manage supplier contracts and supplier relationships.

Both senior and junior candidates are encouraged to apply for this position. Responsibilities and qualification requirements will be adjusted according to experience level, competence, and background.

Key responsibilities include the following:

• Take lead role in developing an overall sourcing strategy for the company
• Develop and implement supplier search and selection process
• Support development of technical specifications and quality requirements
• Develop and negotiate supplier contracts and terms of supply
• Maintain long term supplier relationships and drive continuous improvement initiatives
• Responsible for spend analysis and reporting
• Ensure efficient collaboration between cross-functional teams within the company

Skills and qualification;

The ideal candidate will meet the following requirements:

• Entrepreneurial spirit and prepared to work in a fast-paced environment
• Relevant university degree
• Relevant sourcing experience from industry or management consulting
• Set priorities, drive change, meet deadlines and make clear recommendations
• Organized, structured and efficient
• Strong cross functional collaboration skills and affinity with advanced technical products
• Ability to lead projects and support commercialisation of products and manufacturing 
• Experience with procurement and sourcing tools including ERP systems
• Strong negotiation, communication and presentation skills
