Internal Control Manager

To further strengthen their internal control function, Elkem is hiring a skilled professional as their Internal Control Manager. The Internal Control Manager will support and develop initiatives, activities and efforts with respect to corporate internal control requirements, covering the whole organization worldwide. You will have the opportunity to be involved in improvement project related to internal control from the beginning, and put your mark on it. You will build an extensive network in the organization and become part of a solid, yet future-oriented corporation with great ambitions for innovation, sustainability and digitalization.

Scope of work

• Support the critical functions in establishing the minimum standard of internal control defined by the Group
• Monitor, support and follow-up the functions to develop quality assured procedures and ensure that these are accessible globally
• Participate in conducting internal review and audit activities to evaluate and improve the effectiveness of the internal control framework
• Give relevant training in the defined internal control standards to the critical functions
• Frequent reporting of status and activities

Qualifications required for the position

• MSc in Finance or other relevant discipline
• Experience with internal control in a large organization or as a consultant
• Experience with auditing/risk management is a plus
• Enterprise Risk Management Certified Professional (ERMCP) or equivalent is an advantage
• Experience from an international environment is an advantage
• Fluency in English and Norwegian

The work location will be our head office at Skøyen in Oslo and the position reports to Head of Group Tax and Internal Control. Some travelling is required.
