Are you up for a challenge? Then you could be our new Chief Financial Investment Officer. You are an eager and dedicated team player with passion for investments and financial instruments. You will be overall responsible for the financial portfolio, free liquidity, financing, and risk exposure of Torvald Klaveness and other family-controlled companies.
You will work closely with the CEO and the owner of Klaveness.
The position is located in Oslo, and you will be reporting to the CEO of Torvald Klaveness.

Areas of responsibilities and main tasks

• Execute on the financial investment strategy set out by the Board of Directors, including fund investment screening, portfolio monitoring, reporting, and sale decisions
• Develop the company's financial investment strategy in close collaboration with the CEO and the Board of Klaveness and continuously update financial investment strategy and mandates
• Invest financial portfolio in accordance with strategy and mandates
• Maintain a complete overview of overall holding and family-controlled portfolio and risk exposure, also incorporating valuation of industrial portfolio
• Continuously evaluate and update group investment capacity and risk exposure and implement corrective measures as needed
• Identify, evaluate, and implement IR/FX hedges/positions
• Contact with banks and coordinate bank dialogues and funding across the group, including debt funding to internal portfolio companies

Desired background and qualifications

• A master’s degree from a well-reputed university with strong academic records
• Minimum 10 years of relevant experience from the financial markets
• Ability to execute on investment strategies and to be responsible for risk taking
• Strong understanding and experience from analytical work, financial modelling, and valuation
