Chief Operating Officer - COO

Job Description

We are seeking a COO to join the ZEG management team and take lead on the industrialisation of our product portfolio. The role is new and will also be responsible for implementing digital solutions to support the industrialisation strategy. Product management (PLM/PDM) will be key to drive down cost and lead times. Project execution of our ongoing H1 project at Kollsnes and building up a service organisation will also be part of the responsibilities.

Primary responsibilities
 

• Project execution of the ongoing H1 Kollsnes project and build up a service organisation
• Driving operational efficiency (cost, lead times, quality) by implementation of concepts like PLM and PDM with focus on standardisation, “configure-to-order” and continuous improvements
• Establishing efficient supply chains to support our products and improve quality of the deliveries
• Responsible for shaping, implementing, and executing our digital strategy along the value chain from concept to implementation
   

Qualifications & skills
 

• MSc or equivalent higher-level education within Operational Management and/or Project Management with minimum 15 years’ experience
• Operational management experience related to PLM/PDM and manufacturing of products/systems, utilising modularity, configure-to-order, and batch production philosophies
• Experience in bringing innovative & complex process products to market by use of PLM tools integrated with suppliers
• Experience related to value chain optimisation including leveraging digital technologies
• Knowledge about relevant digital technologies including Digital Twin platforms, engineering software, PLM/ALM
• Experience from the process industry, from process technology development, and from setting up/managing remote operation support of process facilities would be beneficial
