TMC (Tamrotor Marine Compressors AS) is the World leading supplier of compressed air systems to the Marine and Offshore market. Our products are oil lubricated rotary screw compressors, all type of compressed air dryers and filters, compressed air system solutions, oil free ALS compressors (air lubrication compressors), gas compressors and special compressors for offshore installations topside. Our customers are shipyards and ship owners Worldwide and we have a Global sales network for our products and solutions. Our Global sales network comprises a team of area sales managers working out of our offices in Norway, Singapore, Korea, and China. In addition, we have agents and partners in key markets like Europe, USA and Far East.

The objective for the Sales Manager is to lead our Global sales network and activities as well as having his/her own key major customer accounts. The sales manager will report to Director Global Sales and Business Development.

  • We are searching for a self-driven, technical, and commercial minded professional with a proven record of success managing global sales activities.
  • Experience from, and perfect understanding of, the sales and buying processes driving the maritime & offshore markets.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Excellent sales skill and proven sales records from the Marine and Offshore industry.
  • Technical and commercial aptitude with desire to acquire thorough knowledge of the company’s products and how they are used.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Reliable penchant for timely follow-up on deadlines without constant supervision
  • Collaborative - able to lead and motivate employees on all levels in the business
  • Proficient in the use of Super office, Microsoft Office, ERP systems and web-based software.
  • Well in command of English language Technical and commercial both written and oral.
  • Willing to travel internationally (expected + - 100 days a year)
