This a great opportunity to join the Institutional Banking team of Danske Bank, which is an integrated part of Large Corporates and Institutions, and sits alongside Markets and Transaction Banking with responsibility for the overall client relationship. The Institutional Banking team is responsible for ensuring that the coverage model and the product delivery are optimised and seamless. The team works closely together across country borders and sharing ideas plays a key part in ensuring that our clients receive the best advice and product delivery.

Managing excellent client relationships
You will act as a Senior Relationship Manager in a team covering Norwegian institutional clients. You will be working with a number of customer teams, which requires daily and close cooperation with product partners within Markets, Transaction Banking, Investor Services and Asset Management. The client base of Institutional Banking is significant and of key importance to Danske Bank. The business is well developed and we are now looking for a candidate with the drive, skills and customer focus to take it even further. Your main areas of responsibility will be to:

  • Drive the ongoing client dialogue and relationship
  • Maintain a close dialogue with product specialists and support functions
  • Prepare meetings and marketing material in collaboration with Institutional Advisory and product partners
  • Participate in origination and implementation of investment opportunities
  • Prepare and execute client action plans in collaboration with the overall Institutional Banking team

Solid business knowledge and client experience-minded by heart
To succeed in this role, you need strong relationship and networking skills as well as analytical skills and a sense for details. In order to deliver the best client experience we are also looking for candidates with strong personal resources, who are able to stay focused in all situations. A proactive and flexible behaviour are other qualities we are looking for. Strong experience with financial risk management and financial products is required for this role.

You have a relevant higher education, with strong academic results, and you have previous experience with institutional clients. In your career so far you have developed a solid understanding of financial products and risk management, and an understanding of the regulatory framework for institutional client segments. The person we are looking for should have the ability and willingness to manage and support product teams around each client.  

Verbal and written Fluency in Norwegian and English is a requirement.
