The Group has developed products for notebook, high security markets, Government-ID, point of sales terminals and smart card markets. The company has established a diversified customer base, which include POS manufacturers, HW manufacturers and Government ID providers. NEXT’s ongoing business development efforts are expected to bring additional volumes from new use cases and targeted niche applications. NEXT has offices and subsidiaries in Oslo, Taiwan, China, India and USA and is listed on the Oslo Stock Exchange (NEXT).

NEXT Biometrics is looking for a skilled Finance Manager, which will have the responsibility for business controlling, group financial processes and reporting. You will be a part of a small team that manages NEXT’s financial functions and reporting to the Oslo Stock Exchange. The role reports to CFO and collaborates closely with VP Sales, Head of Asia Operations, legal and supply chain colleagues.


Areas of responsibilities:

• Monthly, quarterly and annual financial reporting and consolidation of two entities in Norway and subsidiaries in China, USA, Taiwan and India
• Lead/manage external accountant in Norway and co-ordination of accountants in international subsidiaries
• Short term financial forecasting and treasury activities
• Forecasting and monitoring revenues, cost and inventory
• OPEX and R&D Projects cost controlling, monthly closing of inventory items and cost of goods sold
• Pricing and margin calculations
• Inventory and external purchase processes
• Responsible for compliance related to IFRS
• Participate in projects such as capital market activities

Profile:

• University degree in Business Administration, Finance or Accounting
• Solid experience of working with Controlling or Accounting
• Proficient Excel skills
• Experience with IFRS, statutory reporting and ERP systems is an advantage
• Fluent in English

• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
