We are looking for an experienced controller for a long term temporary position. Our client is a large international company located in central Oslo, and a market leader in its industry. You will be an important part of the tender team, and contribute with calculations and quality assurance of data related to tenders for large projects. 

This is an assignment for 12 months, starting in May/June 2022.

Responsibilities:

• Collecting and challenging cost calculations performed by other departments involved in tender preparation, including production and installation departments
• Responsible for building and challenging the P&L
• Advisor on contractual terms, to limit the company’s exposure to financial risks
• Actively engage with departments to identify potential cost savings based on historical benchmark and synergies between projects
• Input on financial items (tax, duties, bonds, commissions, indexation, hedging of metals and currencies)
• Risk analysis (both contractual and operational)
• Provide an accurate P&L and Cash-flow
• Develope Return on Experience / feedback loop with Projects actual costs to improve cost estimates
• Create, follow and improve procedures to maintain the necessary quality and standards of estimating

 Your qualifications:

• Bachelor / Masters Degree in financial or engineering fields
• Relevant experience in finance or in the field of tendering. Previous cost estimate position is preferred 
• Large work capacity and ability to work in a fast- paced international environment
• Knowledge of EPCI / turnkey projects environment 
• Strong business analytical and problem-solving skills
• Fluent in English
• Knowledge of SAP is an advantage
