Equinor Asset Management AS (EAM) is seeking an experienced analyst to lead the company’s ambition to strengthen its deliveries within responsible investments, including our efforts to be compliant with future sustainability related legal requirements. The analyst will report to managing director of EAM.

Equinor Asset Management has more than 100 bn. NOK under management, invested in securities globally. The company currently has 17 employees, all based in Stavanger. You can find more information about the company and our principles for responsible investment at equinorfondene.no.

The position

By joining our team in EAM you will have the opportunity to:

  • Drive EAM’s work related to responsible investment, including development of strategy, principles, and procedures.

  • Responsible for responsible investment related reporting, using data and applications from Sustainalytics and ISS.

  • Responsible for preparation and follow-up of EAM’s ESG-forum.

  • Provide ESG-related support to the EAM-organization and to Equinor Pension and Equinor Insurance AS.

  • Lead projects, both related to responsible investments and general portfolio asset management.

  • Participate in providing strategic advisory to internal clients related to portfolio asset management, including related analyses and presentations.

  • Being very hands on and willing to get involved in all areas of ESG management, from strategy advise to implementation and reporting.

  • A deep interest in financial markets, portfolio management and management of ESG-risk.

  • Experience with analysis of ESG-risk in listed companies is an advantage.

  • Experience from a fund management company is an advantage.

  • Experience with data solutions from Sustainalytics and ISS is an advantage.

  • Self-driven and independent with high working capacity.

  • Methodical, analytical and creative with strong digital understanding.

  • Excellent collaboration and communication skills.

  • Strong personal and professional integrity and dedication to Equinor’s values.
