Dedicated and proactive Sr. Financial Controller

We are recruiting for a new Sr. Executive, Financial Controller to join our Accounting and Credit Control department in our head office in Oslo. As a Sr. Financial Controller, you will be part of a world leading marine insurance provider where service and competence is key. In this position you will cover a wide range of responsibilities within accounting and you will be part of an open, friendly and trusting work environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and review monthly reporting and CFO presentations
  • Review annual financial reporting for the company and the group
  • Coordinate annual auditing and prepare audit files
  • Contribute to consolidation and group reporting
  • Lead and/or contribute to internal projects 
  • Assist with corporate tax and VAT issues
  • Contribute to solving issues related to management reporting and business follow-up
  • Ad-hoc support on financial and accounting topics within the organisation

Qualifications:

  • Higher relevant education and minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience 
  • Knowledge about IFRS
  • Experience with group reporting and Controlling or Auditing
  • IT tools and knowledge of SQL would be beneficial
  • Experience with Data Warehouse is preferred
  • Strong communication skills in both Norwegian and English
