Global seismic company is looking for a Senior Financial Analyst

CGG is a global geoscience technology leader. Employing around 3,700 people worldwide, CGG provides a comprehensive range of data, products, services and solutions that support our clients to more efficiently and responsibly solve complex natural resource, environmental and infrastructure challenges.

The Scandinavia office is based in Oslo, Norway. The team is a multi-disciplinary group consisting of 16 employees. The team is responsible for the development and planning, acquisition, processing, interpretation and marketing of the multi-client seismic projects, located offshore on the Norwegian Continental Shelf.

CGG is looking for an analytical and collaborative Senior Financial Analyst to strengthen our global finance team at our Oslo office. You will be a part of a small, international and solid professional environment, and work closely with key decision makers within the company and report to Senior Controller in Norway.  

Main responsibility

  • Monthly reporting deliverables, including underlying support and calculations for selected basins
  • Capitalization and revenue provision assessments
  • Budgeting and quarterly forecasting
  • Cash flow forecasting
  • Cost controlling 
  • Accounts receivables and collections
  • Other related ad hoc requests

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree of Sc. in Business, Finance or similar, relevant work experience may replace formal education 
  • 3 - 4 years of relevant work experience
  • Good Excel skills
  • Fluent in English both written and oral

You are also able to prioritize your work tasks in a good way and deliver quality work within given deadlines, while at the same time you work well both in a team and alone.
