Client Associate, Large Corporates Coverage

Large Corporates Coverage in Norway is the department that has the overall responsibility for SEB’s large corporate’s client portfolio. Large Corporate Coverage is part of Corporate Banking in the Large Corporates and Financial Institutions division. 

We are now looking for a Client Associate to join our team in Oslo.

What you will be doing
As a member of the Large Corporates Coverage team, you will help manage clients with complex banking and financing needs together with the Client Executives. 

You will be part of a dynamic and experienced team with exciting prospects for business growth. Work tasks are varied, and you will work with both existing clients and be part of deal teams executing new transactions. Close co-operation with the various product teams and international sites of SEB will give you broad and strong insights which will be valuable for our clients. You will play an important role in managing the bank’s credit strategy towards our clients.

As a Client Associate you will 

• Work closely with the Client Executive to develop SEB´s relationship with our clients by actively marketing and coordinating SEB´s product offering 
• Assist and support the Client Executive in financial transactions (participate in deal structuring, marketing, negotiations, documentation, etc.)
• Prepare and present business cases internally and externally
• Coordinate the advisory offering to clients 
• Assist in the credit and business selection process

Who we are looking for  
We are looking for an individual who is ambitious, dedicated, and willing to learn. You are a team player and preferably have a minimum of 3-5 years relevant sales, relationship, financing and/or credit experience. You have a university degree in Business Administration, Finance or Engineering and possess an analytical mind-set.

You also have good social skills and ability to build and develop external and internal relationships. You also have a passion to be a true professional and you demonstrate high degree of initiative and curiosity. You have a strategic mindset and possess a strong commercial drive and instinct. Proficiency in Norwegian and English, both verbally and written is a prerequisite.
