Fred. Olsen Investments manages new investment opportunities for Bonheur ASA, and continuously evaluates investment opportunities with a view to strengthen existing engagements and expand into new, but still related, business areas, across technologies, services and products.
Building on competencies developed continuously since 1848, Bonheur has a unique track record of transformation and venturing into a variety of new industries. Bonheur was an early mover within onshore and offshore renewable energy embarking on this in the 1990s. As an investor and owner, Bonheur is characterized by a preference for significant, active and long-term ownership.
Investment Manager
The role
You will join a small team to contribute to systematically look into opportunities to support and facilitate a gradual expansion of Bonheur’s business within existing or closely related industries. Bonheur will honor its reputation as a competent and long-term active owner, and only expand into areas where it is believed Bonheur will have an edge. As Investment Manager you will get an independent role, but utilizing and taking advantage of internal resources, network and competence in a purposeful and effective manner will be a critical part of the job. You will get significant exposure to management teams, industry experts and key decision makers.
Bonheur is pursuing growth, with particular focus on the renewables sector (incl. onshore- and offshore wind and floating solar). Interest and knowledge within these areas will be seen as an advantage.
