We are looking for a Finance Controller for the Group units, who will be part of the Group Performance Management team in Group Finance.

The Finance Controller role will be responsible for delivering financial reporting for the DNV Group units, and for following up the portfolio and projects managed and delivered from the Group units. The role will have visibility and interaction with top level management in DNV. In addition, the role will have opportunity to work with tasks outside of Group units.

We are looking for a talented individual who is engaged, self-driven and professional. The right candidate should be energetic and have an ambition to build a career in the DNV finance organization.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and coordinate the target setting and dynamic forecasting process for Group units
  • Responsible for monthly and quarterly reporting for Group Units. Ensure that reporting is completed in an accurate, controlled, efficient and timely manner
  • Support the Group Officers and Group Unit managers to understand status of key projects and spending levels of their functions as compared with the plans, analyze performance and come up with suggestions and mitigating actions
  • Maintain, control, quality assure and analyze financial facts and figures for both statutory and management reporting purposes
  • Support the implementation and effective use of tools and processes, ensure at all times that reporting systems are operational
  • The right candidate will also be given opportunities to work with tasks outside of the Group units; e.g. analysis of company performance, project management, involvement in relevant organizational and global improvement initiatives and projects

Position Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree, preferably in Accounting, Finance, Audit, Business Administration, or similar
  • 2-5 years of experience from controllership, financial management or alike
  • Proficiency and experience with data analytics in Oracle / other ERP systems, Excel and Power BI. Strong interest in exploring and learning financial and reporting systems and enjoys using new digital tools for data analysis, excellent analytical skills
