Orkla House Care | CFO

Orkla House Care is looking for an experienced CFO who has a blend of strategic capability alongside excellent functional leadership skills. The role offers the opportunity to be a key member of the Orkla House Care management team as they continue to build the business for the future. The role will work closely with the CEO and will engage with a variety of stakeholders across the organisation. The position is located in Oslo and travel is to be expected.

Areas of responsibility:

  • Overall responsibility for the financial management, accounting, control and IT for the business unit, working closely with the CEO, other management team and the board

  • Monthly and quarterly reporting to Board of Orkla House Care, as well as statutory reporting according to local requirements

  • Active member of the Orkla House Care leadership team, ensuring deployment and execution of agreed strategies and tactics to deliver financial commitments

  • Strategy development and execution, and maintenance of relationships with central stakeholders together with CEO and rest of leadership team

  • Responsible for overall risk management and insurance in co-operation with Orkla

  • Work closely with all internal stakeholders to drive strategic initiatives and financial performance

  • Organise the financial reporting and planning activities, including budgeting, forecasting and long-term planning

  • Ensure compliance with company’s policies and legal regulations

Required qualifications:

  • Minimum 5 years senior level finance and people leadership experience

  • Proven experience as CFO with strategy execution and international exposure will be an advantage

  • Experience in working in a variety of financial applications, particularly modern ERP systems

  • Demonstrable experience of supporting a production focused company and building high performing teams aligned to strategic needs

  • In depth understanding of the “machine room” in a Finance & Reporting team as a pillar in a listed company

  • Higher education within finance, MBA/MSc or equivalent

  • Fluent in English. Native in Norwegian, Swedish or Danish will be an advantage

Orkla ASA is an active owner in Orkla House Care, representing Orkla on the Board of Directors of OHC. Orkla House Care er 100% eid av Orkla ASA. Orkla House Care er den ledende leverandøren av pensler, ruller og annet malerverktøy. Dessuten leveres relevante forbruksvarer som maskering, slipemidler og rengjøringsutstyr. Hovedmarkedene er Norden, Storbritannia og Benelux. De viktigste egne merkevarene er Jordan, Harris, Anza, Spekter og Hamilton. Salget er i hovedsak gjennom tradisjonelle fargehandlere og byggevareforretninger. Virksomheten har totalt 900 ansatte og omsetning på rundt 1,6 milliarder norske kroner. De fleste av produktene er egenprodusert og distribuert via Bankeryd i Sverige og Bromsgrove i Storbritannia. Hovedkontoret ligger i Norge på Skøyen i Oslo.
