Novenco is one of the world leading suppliers of HVAC-R systems, with more than 75 years of experience within our field. We develop and deliver systems and products in heating, ventilation and cooling for marine and offshore applications such as wind farms, navy, special vessels and offshore rigs.

We are looking for a project controller to strengthen our continued growth in the market. The position offers a wide range of opportunities and responsibilities within financial and risk reporting in our current project portfolio, as well as new projects. As part of the Finance Department at Novenco AS, you will be an important contributor to the continued development of risk procedures, financial analysis, reporting, and tools in our business. We offer an exciting role in an international and forward-thinking environment. The position reports to the Finance Director.

Responsibilities and duties

• Project controlling and support for project managers in financial forecasting
• Financial analysis, review, and support of decision making in projects
• Contribute to risk management procedures
• Monthly reporting, project accounting and support to management
• Application for project bank guarantees and review of terms and conditions
• Contribute to the further development of systems and tools for business analysis and project execution, reporting and other internal purposes
• Collaborate with the sales department and management with financial inputs to tenders
• Other project execution tasks such as cash flow assessments, forecasts, invoicing and accruals
   

Profile

• Higher education in economics, accounting or other relevant disciplines
• 1-5 years of experience in project or business controlling from project-based industries such as offshore, shipping, EPC, construction or similar
• Interest for international projects, contracting, project accounting, tax, VAT
• Solid English skills, as this is the common working language
• Basic skills in MS Office. Experience with MS Dynamics 365 and Power BI is an advantage
   

Personal skills

To succeed in the position, you need to be a curious and proactive Project Controller with a desire to further develop financial management, reporting, and risk assessment at Novenco. Further, you should be self-driven, analytical, and have a critical eye for established procedures and financial information.
