Senior Group Controller to DNO ASA at Aker Brygge
DNO ASA is looking for an experienced, analytical and ambitious Senior Group Controller to strengthen the Corporate Finance team in Oslo. The position has a key role in preparation of consolidated financial statements for the Company, including sustainability reporting. Further, you will be instrumental in the preparation of management reporting, quality assurance of financial reporting from our subsidiaries and resolving complex IFRS and industry-specific accounting matters.
You will report to the Head of Finance and Accounting and will work closely with the finance teams in our subsidiaries to ensure high quality and accurate and timely reporting. The position will be based in our attractive offices at Aker Brygge in Oslo.
Main Responsibilities
- Key contributor in the preparation of consolidated quarterly and annual reports and notes
- Develop and maintain group-wide management reporting and analysis
- Key contributor in the preparation of sustainability reporting in accordance with Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD)
- Key contributor in the budgeting process
- Perform analytical review and quality assurance of financial reporting from subsidiaries
- Assist with resolving complex IFRS accounting matters, hereunder preparation of accounting memos
- Assist with preparation of statutory accounts, tax returns and audit documentation
- Contributing to optimizing internal controls and the reporting processes
- Support project related tasks such as business financial due diligence
- Ad hoc projects and analysis
Desired qualifications
- Master’s degree in finance, audit and accounting (MRR) or similar
- 5 years of experience from audit firms and/or similar position
- Strong knowledge in IFRS, general accounting principles and tax principles in relation to accounting
- Strong Excel and IT/ERP system competence, and familiarity with consolidation and accounting tools/systems (DNO uses Visma Business and Cognos)
- Experience with preparation or auditing of financial statements in accordance with IFRS
- Experience with BI tools/dashboards, management reporting and sustainability reporting is a plus
- Professional fluency in Norwegian and English, both written and spoken
