Ready for an exciting journey at Hurtigruten as Business Solution Controller?

We are looking for a Business Solution Controller who likes getting into details and can review the bigger picture. This position will play a central and important role in overseeing the revenue data flows throughout and ensuring that our business systems and applications are aligned to support the finance function. You will be a part of a dedicated team of eight and report to AR Manager located in Oslo.

  • Ensure precise reporting of revenue and direct costs
  • Maintain an optimal data flow between  sales systems (PG/FMS) and SAP
  • Link pin between sales, operations and finance teams to facilitate revenue-related matters
  • Oversee Master Data Management process to ensure accurate mapping of new ships, products and VAT
  • Conduct VAT reconciliation between sales systems and SAP
  • Support the preparation of reports and recommendations
  • Assess the effectiveness of current financial systems and propose enhancement strategies


  • A bachelor's degree or equivalent education/experience in economics, business, mathematics, statistics, computer science, or related fields
  • Experience in a role with financial/business insights, focusing on billing and revenue assurance
  • Experience with SAP Master Data Management / Material Management
  • Experience in complex international enterprises is an advantage
  • Good understanding of IT systems, experience with Power BI and Excel for data analysis is an advantage
