ERP Business Area Manager in NTT DATA Business Solutions

NTT DATA Business Solutions (NDBS) is an SAP Global Premium partner, committed to delivering innovative solutions and exceptional service to our clients. As we continue to expand and enhance our business operations, we are seeking a dynamic, commercially focused, and externally driven Enterprise Resource Management (ERP) Business Area Manager, to lead and manage our ERP Business.

Position Overview:

You will be responsible for driving business growth and expand our market presence, through strategy planning and execution within the ERP business area. This role involves extensive collaboration with clients, partners, and cross-functional teams across the organization. You ensure that our solutions are aligned with our clients' business goals and deliver measurable value. The role is a blend of leadership, management, and industry specific expertise.

The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, proven track record as from relevant advisory roles for clients, a bright commercial mind, and a deep understanding of ERP processes and the environment in which he/she operates. You have a natural ability to drive continuous improvement and innovation, both internally and externally. Your brilliant leadership ensure that we attract and retain the best advisors and consultants in the market, who all contribute to strengthen our position in the market as the preferred trusted advisor.

Key Responsibilities:

• Strategic Leadership & Commercial Development: Develop and execute a comprehensive Business Area in line with NDBS business objectives, drive client digital transformation, and foster long-term growth. Support commercial initiatives to identify new opportunities, build relationships with key stakeholders, and expand our ERP market presence.
• Client Engagement & Relationship Management: Support sales in, ensuring a deep understanding of client needs and translating these into effective deliverables and solutions. Cultivate and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships, serving as the preferred trusted advisor – always delivering high quality to our clients.
• System Implementation & Optimization: Oversee the end-to-end implementation, integration, and optimization of ERP-systems for our clients. Ensure that the ERP architecture supports business processes efficiently and is scalable for future growth.
• Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of ERP advisors, managers, and consultants. Foster a collaborative environment that encourages knowledge sharing, continuous learning, and professional growth.
• Executive Collaboration: Work closely with our clients’ C-level executives and senior management. Provide strategic insights and guidance to influence decision-making and drive successful outcomes.
• P&L Responsibility: The role is responsible for setting strategic goals and to ensure the growth and profitability of your business area. You will be responsible for managing budget, financial forecasting, and to drive revenue.
• Resource Management: Manage resources and ensure a cost-effective use of resources (local, regional, and global), aligned with our financial goals. You are also the gatekeeper, ensuring that we have the right and balanced competence to deliver high end solutions to our clients.
• Innovation and continuous improvement: Understand the market trends, emerging technologies, and best practices. Furthermore, you manage to transfer and make use of this knowledge to continuously increase efficiency, drive improvements, and increase client satisfaction.
• Regional and global collaboration/coordination: Ensure that we have a consistent and coordinated strategy. You execute on best practices across NTT DATA Business Solutions’ global/regional operations.

Qualifications:

• You have minimum 10 years in leadership roles, with significant time spent on senior management and/or executive level.
• Preferably you have a strong background from customer and/or system integrator side of large-scale ERP implementations in a complex, global business environment. You also have experience with offshore/nearshore outsourcing.
• You have experience working with tier one partners. E.g.: SAP, Microsoft and Service Now.
• You have proven experience in leading and managing cross-functional teams, with a focus on collaboration, innovation, and excellence. You really know how to enable and encourage teamspirit and individual development.
• You have a deep Industry knowledge, with comprehensive understanding of the industry, including market trends, competitive landscape, and regulatory environment.
• You also have a strong technical expertise, and a deep understanding of the core business processes, products, and/or services.
• You have excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and build strong relationships at all organizational levels, internally and externally.
• We prefer that you have an advanced degree, such as an MBA, but relevant experience and industry-specific skills may compensate.
