Over the past five years, Activeon has expanded from operating five trampoline parks in Norway to now managing 68 activity parks across eight countries in Northern Europe. Looking ahead, we will continue our expansion, offering memorable experiences to our guests. 

Activeon operates trampoline parks under four main brands: Rush, AirHop, Jump House, and Superfly, while the padel centers operate under the Padelon brand. 

 

We are seeking a dynamic Business Development and Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A) Manager to join our management team.

Together with our majority shareholder, Equip Capital, we have secured significant growth capital, positioning us for rapid expansion. This role is not only about identifying and executing M&A transactions but also playing a key role in driving strategic business development initiatives, organic growth, and the creation of a unified company platform. You will be instrumental in ensuring the successful execution of our strategic initiatives, maintaining close collaboration with executive management, and preparing key documentation for board meetings.

 

Key Responsibilities

Business Development and M&A Strategy:

  • Develop and implement the company’s business development and M&A strategy, ensuring alignment with corporate objectives.
  • Lead the identification, evaluation, and execution of M&A transactions, including conducting due diligence, financial modeling, valuation and negotiations.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams (finance, legal, operations, etc.) to ensure seamless transaction execution.
  • Drive the identification and analysis of new business opportunities and strategic partnerships to fuel organic growth.

              

Strategic Initiatives & Program Execution:

  • Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to ensure the successful implementation of strategic programs focused on organic growth.
  • Support the development and execution of a unified company platform that aligns with long-term strategic objectives.
  • Maintain oversight of strategic program execution, ensuring that timelines, budgets, and desired outcomes are achieved.
  • Proactively manage and drive the progress of strategic initiatives, coordinating closely with the management team to ensure timely and effective execution.

               

Board Meeting Preparation & Documentation:

  • Prepare and present documentation for board meetings, providing clear and concise updates on M&A activities, strategic programs, and other key initiatives.
  • Work closely with the executive team to ensure that all board materials are accurate, timely, and effectively communicate the status of ongoing projects.
  • Attend board meetings as needed to offer insights and updates on business development and M&A activities.

 

Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of experience in Business Development, Mergers & Acquisitions, Management Consulting, Corporate Strategy, or a related field.
  • Master’s Degree or equivalent.
  • Strong strategic planning and financial analysis skills.
  • Excellent project management abilities, with the capability to handle multiple high-priority projects simultaneously.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Ability to prepare high-quality board-level presentations and documentation.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
