CTO

As CTO, you will be responsible for driving the company’s technology strategy and ensuring that our solutions meet the future needs of the maritime and offshore industries. This role combines strategic technology leadership with operational responsibility for developing and improving our products while leading and building a highly skilled international and multicultural technology team of 20+ employees. The position reports to the CEO, with Trondheim as the primary workplace.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute the company’s technology strategy.
• Collaborate closely with commercial and operational teams to ensure that our products align with customers’ needs and business objectives.
• Ensure that our SaaS solutions are scalable, robust, and forward-thinking, meeting customers’ requirements for quality and security.
• Lead and develop a skilled technology team, fostering collaboration and continuous improvement.
• Identify and adopt new technologies and innovations to strengthen our solutions and market position.
• Monitor and uphold high standards in cybersecurity, data integrity, and system reliability.

We have high expectations and hope that you have:

• Experience in developing and implementing scalable, cloud-based solutions.
• Expertise in modern development methodologies (Agile, DevOps) and cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud.
• A proven track record of leading development teams solving complex challenges.
• Experience in an international and multicultural environment.
• Educational background in systems development, preferably with experience in maritime, offshore, or energy industries.

You have a strong grasp of relevant trends and technologies and the ability to inspire and lead others. You are passionate about technology, care about people, and have the ability to see how technology can create value for our customers. Experience with inorganic growth and an understanding of both technological and human integration processes is a significant advantage.
