About the Role
Wallenius Wilhelmsen is seeking an experienced and motivated Cash Manager EMEA to join our Global Treasury team. Reporting to the Senior Global Cash Manager, you will oversee cash and liquidity management for the Europe, the Middle East and Africa region, support global treasury tasks, and contribute to the company’s vision and strategic goals. This role also involves project leadership to ensure operational excellence and continuous improvement, as well as support for financial risk management.

Main Responsibilities

• Manage cash and liquidity operations for the EMEA region in line with best-practice corporate governance, including day-to-day banking operations and liquidity upstreaming.
• Lead the implementation and development of a Payment and Connectivity Hub to automate payment transactions.
• Maintain and strengthen bank relationships, including negotiating terms.
• Provide advice and support to business operations on cash management issues.
• Drive continuous improvement and reduce complexity in cash management processes.
• Contribute to cash management strategy while ensuring fraud prevention.
• Prepare liquidity forecasts and support working capital improvement initiatives.
• Drive key projects and initiatives aligned with Global Treasury’s Objectives and Key Results (OKRs).
• Approve treasury transactions and payments in line with company policies.
• Provide backup support for financial risk management tasks.
• Contribute to treasury-related matters and ad hoc projects as needed.

Desired Qualifications

• Higher education in business administration, finance, economics, or similar fields.
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in treasury, accounting, corporate banking, and/or related fields.
• Preferred experience in treasury, cash management, and/or financial risk management.
• Strong understanding of IT systems, connectivity, and digital solutions.
• Proven project management skills with the ability to manage multiple global projects.
• Fluent in written and spoken English.
